    Too many gels these days are sticky messes that don't really dry, so your fingers get sticky when you touch your hair, which completely defeats the purpose of using gel instead of a jar product.

    I detest most jar products aimed at men because they're greasy and heavy, and really only work if you have super thick and borderline unmanageable hair, but at that point you could probably dab mud into your hair and it would work.
