So no different than mcafee or the other guys avast will lock up the pc for a small time not as bad as mcafee when launching new programs that it hasnt seen before sometimes it tells you its doing it sometimes it says it wont run it unless you click something sometimes it offers to upload a sample to hq
The screens are ok for me its the price you pay i have paid some years usually when im cleaning up a friends pc i make them buy a year to start and if you can afford 19yr or whatever some of the costs are please support these guys since they offer a free version
