Pros

The incline helps keep acid from flowing into his esophagus during the night. It is what it is, but does help with gerd. Works well for my condition of hiatal hernia and acid reflux.

The wedge strikes the right balance between comfort and firmness. The tightness is a bit annoying though. The density of the wedge keeps me from sinking into the material therefore i am not hot and clammy.

The product is extremely well made. Quality seems top notch. My husband's a furniture engineer, so i know quality foam!

The avana * bed wedge is pricey but great! If u need a wedge i highly recommend it. Don't hesitate buying one. Customer service from seller is prompt and cheerful.

Cons

For my size 135lb and 5’8” it’s not comfortable. I feel that this is misleading and it should have recommended that an other wedge beused for the legs. Worse, it could not be returned.

Also i am a side sleeper not a back sleeper and im also having difficulty finding a comfortable position with the pillow

With the wedge the angle was just enough to give me the lift ineed to be able to use the bed rather than a recliner

Upon opening and taking it out of its case where it is compressed for shipping one needs to wait a couple hours for it to expand

There was very little of that new foam smell that you often get with foam bedding even right out of the package
