Although i love that my newer mac’s use usbc for charging i still miss my magsafe adapters that would break loose if someone kicked or tripped on the cord

It comes with three tips which i initially thought was in the event you lose one but as difficult as it is to remove one once you have it installed i think the idea is to just leave the tip in the device at all times instead of moving it between devices

Importantly it protects your port and device in the case that the cord is accidentally yanked this magnetized end just pulls loose easily in the case of a yank on the cord
