Just had a 8-12 snowfall in longmont, co. Regained my confidence for getting around in colorado snow. Only downside is deep snow.
Mud from melted snow makes them dirty, but you can just hose it down and put it in the plastic bag that it came with for storage. They're not quite one-time-use disposable, but almost.

I did lose one sock after initial install and had to return for it after i realized it was missing i could hear the difference while driving
