After a couple of weeks a part got broken my fault not product flaw l contacted rentacoop and the mailed a new part without hesitation

The third day i put the brick back on top of the treadle just in case a hen or two hadnt learned how to use it

It took the smart hens all of ten minutes to figure it out and the dumb ones followed suit

It took a few days for the hens to not be startled by the movement but the 2 month old chicks quickly learned that if 2 or more stood on it at the same time it would open

I had to put a brick on the treadle to keep it open all day then as they seemed to be learning i put the brick on it have the day now not at all
