I think because it runs pretty slowly it has time to suck up more dust than if you were to just flick a normal hoover around at full speed

E shoe laces it will try to hoover these and get caught up inside the machine will stop and beep if it does something like this

If you have a lot of clutter or want to use this on carpeted surfaces then you might struggled with this automated vacuum and i would certainly not recommend it for this application

When the vacuum is running out of charge it will beep then instantly try to find its charging dock via infrared the vacuum will continue to turn and move around the room looking for the dock if it loses line of site

The vacuum is programmable so you could set it to vacuum at certain days and times

Something i have yet to do as i prefer to be around when the vacuum is working – for fear that it sucks up something it shouldn’t… and this brings me on to the potential drawbacks of the machine that perhaps you need to be aware of

Finally on carpets the vacuum struggles to get any bits that are slightly engrained or tricky to pick up so dust or even bits of paper that are loose are fine but engrained bits not so good
