Pros

Rubber seems durable but time will tell. No complaints for me. For price, this protector cannot be beat.

An octagon window is very lovely but when that spring/summer sun comes in it is like a blast furnace. Shades, shutters, etc. Looks great. This is a real good deal that looks great on my 2018 soul red/black trim cx 5.

Cons

The item itself is very flimsy. You have to apply added tape to the back in order for it to adhere to the bumper. Started to lift after only having for a couple months.

And it appears to me time will tell that this is completely compatible with the cx5s power liftgate

If the rubber is too thick or too wide it could interfere with the tailgate closing putting added wear and tear on the tailgate motor

This bumper protector is nothing fancy and its not exactly custom fit for the cx5

This is really a great looking product for the price

Be sure to clean and wipe the bumper area with ipa before mounting
