Only issue i have is the rubber matting on the flat surface. I keep my tablet there and use the gps and it doesn't slide off. The only issue i am experiencing is the desktop area (in camo) is very slippery.

There is nothing quality about this thing that screams $300. It's way, way overpriced for what it is. This is a big miss for me, and it's a pity because this company appears to have the market on these things cornered.

It has just the right amount of friction when fully retracted to keep it from sliding out under normal driving conditions but its not too stiff to pull out when you need it

Only improvement would be the adhesive that holds the nonskid plus the overall size of the nonskid material could be larger
