Pros

Display can be used to show recordings from either front or rear cameras or a split-screen with the two. Quality of recording is good and gps module give all extra info as well. The picture/ video quality is crystal clear.

The instruction is very clear and installation process doesn't take much time. Wiring is long enough, mounting is simple with provided rubber straps for the display.

New anti-glare helps to see screen in bright light and it is much better than from previous dash cam. Really excellent dash cam/ reversing camera. Night vision is great unless it rains when sometimes it gets blobby.

Rear camera really help with parking especially in a crowded places such as supermarkets. Gps gives you timestamp and position of the car in case of insurance claim. During the day, the traffic is just about visible in the mirror.

Cons

A downgrade in quality to make a cheaper product, of low quality, to compete with the chinese knockoffs flooding amazon. Not good quality at all. Distances shown in the display are not real. This is okay for normal driving, but quite unsafe at high sp... Read More

Whether this is because the camera is inside is debatable, though i think not given the quality during the day3.

This is pretty unfortunate as the product on their website claims to not have this issue.

Packaging/appearance

She sent me out a whole new unit with the new version of the firmware already installed on the dashcam.

Parking ‘lines’ are adjustable from the screen.

Glare during the day can be distracting as you get 2 images from the screen

I have spent long time searching for a dashcam and reading reviews and this camera is an excellent choice.

I bought this for my l200 truck as it did not have parking sensors.

The old dashcam's mirror was crystal clear and perfect for day and night.
