The autofocus feature does work as advertised but it is very slow and i find using manual focus with focus peaking is faster and more reliable

The opening definitely allows for full frame but on the a7r you have to make a setting change to force unrecognized lenses to shoot full frame

Everything seems to be working as smoothly as it can for now until a company finds a way to fix the slow auto focus issue as has been pointed out why these 2 systems dont get along

I only use manual focus so i cant speak much to the autofocus feature but i know its not great
