Pros
This antenna doubled the range of my radio. Can get about 2 miles in a neighborhood setting. Works on fm radio, fire vhf, marine vhf and noaa wx (those are locally strong, though) good reception and transmission.
Cons
Nagoya claims that each antenna is individually tested. Looking closely at all three antennas revealed that this one is not machined properly. To make a long story short the swr on this antenna is very high and unuseble.
Comet ht224 tri-band antennas were ordered. They simply are not compatible with baofeng uv-5r and bf-f8h radios. They say baofengs are easily overloaded and with a higher gain antenna they would go deaf.

I swapped the stock 34rubber duck34 antenna on my handheld with this antenna and i am at least picking up noaa much much better
It has if fact doubled my transmission capability to almost double in comparison to the oem antenna

Work so far so good soon as i put it on the radio my reception was awesome dont know yet about transmission but soon will but im definitely going to get another one that is genuine baofeng product

These do tend to pick up more signal so an adjustment to the squelch setting may be necessary for some users
