The reason i purchased this particular one autex is the picture of it showed extra support where the originals usually broke

Once i received it the part was assembled wrong and it took patience to reassemble it without breaking the plastic part of the mechanism before it was installed in the door

I managed to repair the broken one by removing it removing the broken screw mounts and expoxying the screw mounts back on then packing extra epoxy around outside of the screw mounts
