Pros
For the rear bar and mount, remove the existing trim bolts and install 4 washers on each bolt. The mounting brackets for these bars are the same. These racks are easy to install and sturdy.
I really like how sporty it makes my highlander look, from afar, in broad daylight. No wind noise or rattles.
Cons
The retaining clips are a horrible design. When you start tightening the nut the whole clip simply swings around and pops out. The feet of the mounts straddle the recess in which the roof access covers sit improperly.

However i took the advice of the washers to space up the existing bolts on the xle and then also wrapped the base of each bar where it meets the rubber boot with electrical tape to close the gap and keep water out

It comes with an allen wrench to adjust the size which is not noted in the instructions
