Keep in mind that the roofs dynamic weight capacity of the highlander is 165lbs when the car is in motion regardless if the crossbars are rated at 260lbs so try not to load over 165lbs

This would provide more support if two adults were laying on the roof and less likely that the cross bars would bend or bow

When i crack the moonroof open to let air in i can barely hear it at 35mph but you can definitely hear it at 65mph but that was expected

Also if the end cover will not snap into place dont force it

Try loosening the bolt straighten the bracket retighten then try the cover again

Do not completely tighten the screws that hold the cross bar to the end bracket until everything is mounted

Otherwise you will not be able to get the end brackets in exactly the right place
