This is a good quality soldering iron with a great solder sucker the best i have used so far
Desoldering is done by using the solder iron to melt the soldered metal holding the blown capacitors or anything else soldered into place then quickly removing the melted solder either with a sucker or a wick before it cools and rehardens
With a good solder sucker this task is much faster and requires much less remelting to remove the same amount
There are a variety of tips to adapt to various soldering tasks
