It has a section for shredding old credit or debit cards built in. There is a safety latch that operates the shredder. If you happen to have a paper jam, the reverse function is also very handy.

I do remember something in the instructions stating that its supposed to be oiled once a month had i have known that i would not have purchased it and i cant find the instructions so i dont know where im supposed to oil it or what kind of oil to use

So i guess for now ill use it until it doesnt work but it would be great if someone from the company could send me a pdf file of the manual or send me instructions by email to tell me where im supposed to oil it and what kind of oil to use i do remember im supposed to oil it once a month
