The center piece of the mount is free floating, supported by pretty hefty (what seems like) parachute cord. The plastic mount has some flex which is to be expected but otherwise is very durable.
Blue yeti mic is very sturdy and holds the mic well. It significantly reduces the amount of unwanted ambient noise that the yeti mic would typically pick up while using the desk mount.

This is very affordable. Finally a reasonably priced shock mount for the yeti. However, i have no issues with this mount, especially when compared to the $100 that blue wants for theirs.

The only down side is that it is plastic but unless i am going to be rough with it then it really is a nonissue

I do want to address the complaint ive seen about the screw size being wrong i was contacted by the seller before even receiving the thing and they informed me that this is a defect on the blue yeti from what they can understand

They recommended using plumbers tape to try to correct the issue but did say they would offer a refund regardless

The problem came with what happened to the mount as a result simply put the piece that connects the yeti to the internal ring broke off
