Very happy with the purchase but yes sleeve does have a strong odor and needs to be aired out
Only reason for 4 stars is because the product honestly shouldnt come damaged but its worth the price
The color was off its more of a dull muted green but the quality is there

By design outer sleeves are more protective than inner sleeves if the former are welldesigned and built

It will protect against bumps and scratching but it isnt designed to completely protect your laptop against a drop from several feet and i doubt it would do so if the laptop landed on a corner or edge

The item smells terribly of the petroleum byproduct materials used to make the protective rubber inside
