High setting seems to yield 100 lux in a non-laboratory setting with the low setting being about 25 lux. It has 3 settings (high, low and intermittent). Never really use the strobe function though.

If you are on the 1st low intensity setting hold the red power button down for 3 secs

You will see the light quickly flash one time

The next push of the power button turns it off bypassing the high intensity and strobe
