Macbook pro running audirvana all files were either flac or high quality rips direct from apple musicaudioquest dragonfly blacknad d 3020 amplifierq acoustics 3020 speakersthere was definitely a noticeable improvement in sound quality across all tracks but it is subtle

But was eliminating one type of noise which i can only think is on the data lines not shieldpower so it was a worthwhile buy

To my further surprise it also works if you simply attach it to an unused usb port ie not in the signal path

Well worth the investment in a medium to highend system or in front of a headphone dacamp

I wasnt that surprised though the original pi has a terrible usb implementation

It was much better but still not good so the option of just buying a new pi didnt cut it either
