Pros

These mic pres are some of the best you can buy without spending hundreds more per channel. The converters are great, especially if you're switching from something like a focusrite 2i2. It is far warmer and is noticeably more distinct than through my ... Read More

Cons

The warranty is over. I tried my trusty printer cable. Now i have a $699 paperweight that picks up alien mic / line-in signals but won't let me listen to them.

If it doesn't work and * my ears, then it's unusable. Please do yourself a favor and steer far away. It sounds good, but in my opinion, should not be trusted.

The sound quality is excellent and the simplicity of the interface is exactly what is needed without a lot of unnecessary stuff

More importantly the sound quality is up to par with most of your higher end gear

I ended up with the apollo which is way better in every way but of course 400 more too

If not will grudgingly return as i really like this product

Price

Sound quality for the price is unparalleled

Pros the preamps are unbelievably clean for the price youre paying

All in all if youre looking to upgrade from something like a 2i2 the id22 wont dissapoint you
