Pros
Schiit lyr twin tube with mullard tubes and the sound is amazing. Boston and fleetwood mac songs sound fantastic! Mid-range is incredible. This is very helpful for studio engineers and recording artists for example.
Cons
The hyped fourth bullet point is the audeze name. It has deceptive marketing, and is not worth the msrp. Hey, it's kind of like this; i won't tell you not to put ketchup on your hotdog if you like it that way.
It has some of the worst soundstage for a planar magnetic i have ever heard. The lcd-1 also has a noticeable bass roll-off; there is very little sub-bass presence.

It comes with a quality protective case and the packaging is premium
Received in quality condition and packaging as all my audio equipment so far
Competitiveness
Compared to my wyze headphones and jbl speaker these truly stand out in sound quality
The hd 650 is very much a music lovers headphones imho and to that it does a phenomonal job
The competition planars including the lcd1’s bigger brothers are either too largeheavyexpensive andor of unreliable quality

After using the lcd1 headphones for several weeks and listening to familiar selections this is what i found

One thing that i don’t like is that audeze uses a proprietary cable for the lcd1 which is available in only one length

They don’t have the biggest soundstage the boomiest base but what they have got is miss and vocals like i personally have never heard

Edit these are really for solo listening in private

Being open backed they do leak sound and aren’t appropriate for use in public situations
