    I dont need one on the negative side so hoped to save it to use in the future but it will not fit and is stiff enough that i would be afraid to force it open

    Even opened to its widest and prying it open further a bit with a screwdriver i didnt want to get tough with it for fear of it simply breaking it would not open enough to go over the shim on the post

    I dont know if its my post my battery is an autozone duralast gold or if that one terminal is machined bigger than it should be
