The rubber looks brass and the description says brass-plated, but it began to rust rapidly after 1 use. They are “brass plated” and rust instantly. Rusted after one use.

Ive always used the fliplever type drain plugs but this is very solid
Plug features durable rubber construction hilarious
The whole thing rusted completely shut and every time toing out it takes 2 pairs of plyers to get the screw turning and operational
Handle is brassplated and includes a chain nope
Price
Great price and it works perfect so far
Im giving it the very generous 4 star review only because it is so cheap
These plugs range from about 5 bucks to 20 bucks
Bottom line great value for the money if you dont expect it to last

This isnt your every day use plug but its a must have to throw a couple in the glovebox or storage bin
