This style of water proofing with the liquid and swab is perhaps the best as it penetrates better than a spray product would

One arrived great while the other leaked about 18th of the bottle in the packaging
Im guessing its alcohol based because it will coat about one pair of boots before it all evaporates in the bottle

I actually have 8 different highend waterproof hiking boots that all leak simply by riding a horse in the rain after a couple of days
