Pros
It's possible to do this with a drill, but i prefer by hand. A nice bonus is that the tap comes in a reusable and labeled plastic sliding case. Very pleased with the results.
Cons
The tap is cheap carbon steel. Piece of junk. It has no stamping or laser etching.

The hole had rusted up a bit and was preventing a so running the tap through it cleared the threads right up
