It offers several codecs to record in prores and avid it has a high amount of versatility the scopes are absolutely awesome to have handy as well as the ability to apply luts right into your picture preamps for using phantom powered xlr mics the list goes on

I dont really know what people are complaining about this monitor allows anyone to shoot in high quality video not just professionals who pay upwards of 10 to 20k to have this sort of capability

If it was just a recorder it would have a lot of features that are desirable prores recording on hds and ssds that arent proprietary to name a couple
