The website states very clearly this is 400nits and and that is not very bright and thats okay its only 400

Certainly more cumbersome then handheld video recorder but i was able to balance the dlsr with a long arca clamp and slide the camera with arca style plate mounted in longitudinal rather then typical direction to allow for balancing the camera with different lenses

The atomos blade has extended video recording far beyond the limits of my dslr improved video quality and microphone plugs right in if using ambient noise andor dialogue saving time from audio synch in postprocessing

Works great but dont buy it for using as a monitor only because you cant take the atmos characters off the screen and youll need to see your cameras characters
