Pros & Cons
Pros
Atoma diamond sharpeners are fast cutting and don't have an inconsistent surface that makes your blade catch here and there. Cut faster and doesn't clog up.
Cons
The seller clearly list the item much bigger than what it is. The label on the outside of the packaging says atoma diamond sharpener 1200. The content inside it and the barcode specifies that it is an atoma 600.
Highlights
Quality
The quality of atoma stonesplates is unmatched and it leaves a better sirface finish too

The description reads 34atoma diamond sharpener replacement blade 120034 but i received a complete plate with the aluminum backing
Invest in quality tools and youll never be disappointed in performance
Packaging/appearance
The scratch pattern doesnt polish out going from the atoma to the 10k so if you like a satin finish its ideal
Competitiveness
Quality control looks spot on after inspecting with a 30x loupe
I also used an atoma 400 and 800
I spent 3 weeks flattening a black translucent arkansas stone or what the oldtimers called a blueblack arky stone
Id liken it to a shapton 1000 ceramic but lacking the great feedback of the shapton

I hollow ground with a t4 tormek then went to the 140 atoma in a mk2 veritas jig set at the same 2530°angle as the t4 to hone out the hollows the water wheel creates

That was done with the 140 then its divets were removed with the 400 and 1200 plates before moving up to 1000 then 3000 and 5000 shapton stones followed by an 8000 takenoko and a final natural awase toishi from the now closed honyama mine
