Neal stephenson's latest sci-fi short is about a man who brings a dream to fruition. Stephenson's imagination exceeds such a modest effort. This is neal stephenson at his best.
I like stephenson’s novels, although they tend to be far too long, lazily edited, and have weirdly meh non-endings. Stephenson writes great epics and are fun from beginning to end.

Except in the movie the cause of the electrical disturbance is not anything as scientifically accurate as the ionospheric spritesin atmosphaera incognita it is a bolt of plasma from outer space from the edge of our solar system in order to set up the remainder of the movie which i will not reveal here
