Atlas obscura is a collection of off the beaten path places from all over the world. The book is a must-have for anyone who loves to travel. The first edition of the book was published in 1989. The second edition was released in 2010.
Wonderful gift for the fun fact enthusiast. Niece is 9.
Every page is a marvel. Also love the podcast with these oddities and adventures. A fun book.

A prominently featured review states that this book has 34terrible pictures most in black and white34i have the book in front of me right now and can plainly see that the vast majority of pictures are in full color
