The aeron chair is quite impressive by itself but very much so lacking a headrest component which is the gap that the atlas headrest fills

First of all the product was designed by a former herman miller designer who actually worked closely with the guy who invented the aeron chair

Now on to the engineering when i was doing my initial research on the available options it was clear that if i wanted to fully customize the exact height and depth that the other options on the market would not cut it

Fortunately there is an easy solution i added some rubber bands inside between the metal and plastic to increase the friction coefficient now it takes only 50 of force for me to twist the handle and the friction force is 5x larger
