Instructions say to find balance point by holding onto each side and suspending the projector

It was easier to find the balance point by resting the heavy projector across a dowel or broomstick on a table then rechecked the balance on the ground by holding onto the mount and suspending the projector before screwing the whole thing into the ceiling

It is hard to tighten the pan and tilt bolts as there is little space between the ceiling and the projector
