Not being able to initiate calls away from the phone is not an issue for me personally but i can see where that would be very inconvenient for those who are making and ending calls away from the phone

Previously she used a corded headset with our cordless house phones but the cord was a hassle and the wear and tear caused the phone headset jacks to quit working or the headsets themselves quit working

We have panasonic cordless phones but since this plugs directly into a phone jack it should work with virtually any phone system
