Pros
The drive seems to be durable. It reads and writes very fast, even on my fifteen year old toshiba laptop. It seems sturdy enough.
It has a y splitter cable with mini usb male into the asus drive and two male a plugs to plugs into the pc. It is plug and play. Played music cds, a dvd, and opened a data cd-rom.
Might be inconvenient but not a real problem. It hooks to my 2 usb ports and works. It is compatible on both pc and mac.
