Pros
A cinema is a cinema. The stand is solid and adjustable to a great degree, though i'd prefer it if the the monitor could be lowered all the way down like the ultrasharps are able to.
The anti-glare coating is present and it does work. There is some backlight bleed which is noticeable, however it is within tolerable limits.
Full hd resolution and colour accuracy are important to me while reviewing my hd footage. Only drawback is the poor calibration of profiles other than standard and user.
Really vibrant colors and always a clear picture. Print quality is even closer to what i see on the monitor, and web-browsing is an altogether more pleasant experience. Amazed by the picture quality straight out of the box.
Cons
On a black screen, it is noticable. Asus support said they have never heard of it, google says otherwise. It's obvious they're cutting corners in production somewhere along the line.

On top of that its also very adjustable in terms of position you can pretty much set the height you want angle and you can even put it on portrait mode

Doesnt connect to macbook air with thunderbolt to displayport adapter but does connect with thunderbolt to hdmi adapter

Photoshop elements goes further and announces that the profile is in error and switches to a generic one

For me the best results were obtained by using control panel colour management to switch back to the generic srgb iec619662
