It's totally different and it dries you out immediately. It lasts longer but the texture of the gel (i got the gel) did not produce a pleasurable sensation. The end seam of this bottle was cut at the corner exposing the product and leaking.
Sticky, like a paste. Not slick at all. I fear that it might clog the pipes if you try to shower it off.

Astroglide x has the consistency of a thick gel instead of heavy grease and goes on more easily particularly to tight places

But unlike grease or oil it doesnt leave a scummyfeeling film its just slick like teflon tape
