It will seem like it was plugged in all the way on the headset side of the cable but you may need to press harder to have it completely connect and provide mic pickup

They are awesome i do recommend before getting them to look up videos of how to set it up cause it is very diffrent but once you do it the first time its like riding a bike also the mic clicks in and out like im muting my mic somethings thats also pretty annoying if you can get the a50s id go for that but if not must have

Good sound comfort can wear for hours with glasses digital mixamp as a usb soundcard surround sound capability i can hear if somethings behind mebad it seems that astro has tried to save money by taking out an included headset case was in the gen1 set taking out memory foam earpads and not including a 3rd speaker tag so that you can wear them without a mic just so that the headset has mod kit functionality which in my opinion just another way to make money

Out of the box its mic cuts out constantly

You have to change the mic settings in the astro command centre to streaming for the mic to work properly and not cut out
