It worked fine for the first 9 rivnuts but the m12 pull rod snapped on the small end on the 10th rivnut just above the threads on the knob end of the pull rod

I did find a user manual for one of astro pneumatics other rivnut set tools online and it worked fine for understanding the setup

If you then wiggle the tool you can unthread the bolt out of the rivnut without the knob

I figured out how much to tighten by test crimping one rivnut and noting how far it would compress with no material in the crimp
