Pros
Works great at 1/4 rivet stainless steel. The cup catches all the shanks that are popped so cleanup is simple.
If you need a smaller tool to fit in a small space, i think i recommend getting the air compressor kind. Talk about a time saver (and hand saver too) just make sure the head of tool is adjusted correctly.
Worked as advertised. Nice and sturdy. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.
Cons
Using the right rivet size, requires mucho number of pumps to even pull the stem. Returned this item as defective.
The jaw carrier pops off the friction shaft every time. The threads are not strong enough to hold it on while its pulling.

Im probably less than average strength for a man so i really struggled to use a 11inch riveter with rivets with steel mandrels
Once i switched to this 20 inch tool those rivets with steel mandrels were sooo much easier

However some of the older stock of the 1426fnp were threaded incorrectly resulting in my having to return two of them and finally getting one direct from astro pneumatics that worked

An improperly adjusted riveter will not grip well

I have found that this tool when properly adjusted has a shallow grip on the rivet core resulting in a clean break of the rivet core
