Pros

They fit securely and are made of a flexible material. These new seals are stretchy enough that they fit all my different styles and sizes of jar. I have an antique sugar jar and it fits perfectly.

Used for replacements on older set of clip closed cannisters. I like the seal it provides to help keep moisture out since epsom salt can clump of it gets humid.
