Pros
The aspects excel works 365/24/7 because, contrary to human logic, sugar water will not overpower the migration instinct in cold climates. It has a insect moat to keep bugs out of the feeder.
The ant mote feeder is easy to clean. Easy to clean with a brush.
House finches and mourning doves drink the moat water to wash down the thistle and millet. The perimeter perch is the right distance for the tiniest of birds to poke their bills into the ports.
The aspects excel earns my full endorsement. The products have lifetime guarantees that aspects honors part by part.
Clean with water and a sponge. I boil mine, let it cool then refill. I store any leftover in the fridge and it last longer outside boiled.
Cons

When i took the other feeder down there were about 25 bees on it

The bee swarms could smell the nectar and continued to swarm but soon they learned that they couldnt get anything

Bought one with a plastic rather than a metal hanger

Thank goodness it doesn’t have the detachable flowers over the ports as they break easily are hard to clean and don’t seem to make a difference in attracting the hummers
