Pros

If you want a tough day hiker, this is your guy. Every pair lasts a long time. One example is i've worn them on a 4 day elk hunt in a wilderness area on the nevada/idaho border.

The boot has a stiff shank that maintains the boots shape over uneven terrain. The tread has a self braking property that keeps it's traction in slick mudd. They are very reliable, really waterproof and feel just great on my feet.

They are pricey but for a boot that should last your adult life and kick in any condition it is a value buy. Way overdue. Will continue to buy this boot until it is discontinued.

This boot fits like a glove and is very comfortable right out of the box. It's the kind of boot i want to wear often instead of dreading to put my boots on for certain things. After wearing for a while my review will be updated.

Cons

Brought them to a cobbler and was told there was no way to reattach the soles. No repair shops available and was brushed aside by support. Asolo warranty is only 2 years.

Both laces are sheared off on the same metal loop, second from toe. Sole material might as well be teflon. Small pieces of rubber were breaking and flaking off.
