Ceramic liner means no unwanted taste elements. I find that stainless steel gives coffee a slightly metallic and watery taste so i like having an insulated porcelain mug. The yeti keeps coffee hot a bit longer, but the metal does impart an off taste.
Everyone we have bought one for, keeps bragging about how wonderful it is. The seller customer service is also excellent. The *only* thing not perfect about them is the company logo on the side.
The slider top works well, and the slider itself is easily removed for thorough cleaning of the lid.

The handle is slightly uncomfortable and i wish it would be more rounded rather than just a straight peice of metal
