The boot has six sets of eyelets and requires lacing. This problem can easily be solved by replacing the lacing with three long quick release velcro straps.

Almost all were similar thick socks with velcro straps for holding the boot against the foot

It has two long thin plastic webbing that wrap around the ankle in a crisscross pattern the company calls them stabilizing straps
