There’s ample room in the toe box, yet fit the heels snugly and securely. Great running shoes or casual every day shoe. I like the strike feel on the toe (solid) they are a little harder on strike than the asics gels.

The version 27 has no characteristics of its lineage. Under any tension it distorts and looks terrible. I am a 12 extra wide at 200lbs and loved the comfort level of previous versions, but this one has too many flaws to recommend.

With every step it rubs my toe and my big toes are numb. It gets really annoying when you're walking and having to turn your foot which makes the front of the shoe twist causing the dimples to become even more pronounced.
