Pros

The weight of the paper is perfect for pencil or pen, but might bleed through if watercolor is used. The paper seems to have two textures, the front being more smooth than the back.

X6 sketchbooks are perfect for my journaling uses! My 9 year old niece is in love. Good for sketching. For the price it's not bad for beginner sketchbook/journal.

Cons

The hardbound sketchbook is not sturdy. The pages rip out too easy and are falling out with out being torn out. The hardcover itself is not very firm and the corner came bent.

They look nice, but their appearance is deceptive. Buyer beware. Though i am able to return them for a refund, it's a hassle that could have been prevented in the first place.
