Pros & Cons
Pros
Andy weir is very creative! Andy weir does it again with artemis - storyteller at its best.
Jazz is a porter on the moon city of artemis. She also has a profitable sideline as a smuggler of contraband items.
Main character is instantly likable. Charaters are nicely developed. First, the main character is a devious smuggler who becomes a hero.
Cons
The plot is lame. The heroine is unlikable. The protagonist is a whiny little girl.
If you're going to overthrow a billion-dollar syndicate run by the mob, why not hire a cigar smuggler to do it for you? There was a cop. Even if jazz's sabotage mission succeeds, she has left tons of glove prints at the site.
This is easily the worst book from andy weir that i have read. Here is a point the supposedly scientifically literate andy weir overlooked.
Highlights
Quality
I like the story and the xct details as a physicist myself it nice to get a real fiction book
Then i saw an interview with the author saying the two books were in the same story world and i was in
