The basting stitches are still in it, but they are all that's in it. It’s the perfect gift for a bibliophile! Very well-made and colorful - perfect for snuggling up with a book on a chilly evening.
Cons
The blanket has a terrible odor. I'm not sure if it is coming from the quilt or the padding.

Since im planning to machine quilt it i was actually glad it didnt have any quilting on it but be warned if you arent going to quilt it yourself you might not want to pull out those basting stitches
